The Connection at St. Martin-in-the-Fields (CSTM) is based in one of London’s busiest tourist areas. It has been helping homeless people since the First World War and is one of London’s most recognised and largest homelessness charities. Each year a team of 100 staff and 40 regular volunteers provide a range of services to over 3000 people who are rough sleepers or vulnerably housed and we aim to do more.
As part of an ambitious Leadership Team the Director of Finance and Corporate Services will be a positive role model with the personal credibility to build confidence in the charity both internally and externally. S/he will have strong strategic and technical financial skills, experience of managing a number of service areas and no less than three years in a senior management role. Values based leadership, sound interpersonal and people management skills are essential as is the ability to play a key role supporting the Trustees to deliver strong governance.
The responsibilities of the Director of Finance and Corporate Services will encompass HR and facilities as well as information systems. S/he will also bring strategic insight into how to enhance performance and create new business.
This is an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified accountant to join the Leadership Team of a well-recognised and respected charity at a time of change and growth.
