We are a commercially-focussed charity and a leading champion for all the ways parents can participate in their children’s school and education. Our mission is to see more parents engaged in more ways and in even more schools and we are ambitious to widen our reach and influence as well as grow our income and membership.

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Operations and Finance Director to join our Executive Team and help us to accomplish our aims. This is a hands-on role offering opportunities to grow and develop a dynamic team of people who want to make a difference.

The Operations and Finance Director will bring skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Corporate leadership including risk management and business planning
  • Financial management and reporting
  • Strategic planning which includes developing and managing budgets, third party contracts and end of year accounts
  • HR recruitment, policies and procedures.

Experience of acting as a Company Secretary would be useful as would knowledge of Charity law. A finance qualification would be also be useful but is not essential.

You will work collaboratively with the acting Chief Executive to lead and inspire the entire team and deliver results that make a positive impact in the delivery of our strategy.

You will bring a track record of achievement in your previous roles, demonstrate leadership and sound staff management, strong interpersonal skills and a style of operating that is effective with parents, members, colleagues and Trustees.  You will share our core values and our passion to see parents playing the fullest role possible in their children’s education.
