What information do we collect about you?
If you apply for one of the positions advertised on our website we will need to collect information about you which will include some personal details e.g. name, contact details. Your employment history, career experience, skills (CV,) and qualifications, a cover letter with supporting statements for a job application and details of referees or references will be required. We may also collect personal information relating to equal opportunitybut this information will be anonymised.
How will we use the information about you?
We use the information we collect about you in a number of ways:
- processing job applications, in partnership with our clients, on whose behalf we are instructed to advertise job vacancies. If you apply for a specific job, we may pass your details on to the relevant client to consider the application and this means you may receive further direct correspondence from them.
- to communicate with you including sending information about job opportunities which we think may be of interest to you.
- at the end of a specific recruitment campaign you we will delete all your information unless you consent to us retaining it for a period of 2 years.
Information about others
If you provide us with information about other individuals, for example details of a referee or personal contact, you must ensure that they have agreed to you providing us with their details.
Access to your information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you. If you would like a copy of all or some of your data, please send an email to email@example.com. You may ask us to remove or correct information, and if you would like to update your personal information, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keeping your records
We keep records for as long as required to provide the relevant service. Where your information is no longer required, we will ensure it is disposed of in a secure manner and, where required by applicable law we will notify you when such information has been disposed of.
